The worst Mega Man game ever.

User Rating: 4.1 | Mega Man: Battle Chip Challenge GBA
I am a HUGE fan of Mega Man. I enjoyed all of his games for the Super Nintendo, the PlayStation, and the Game Boy Advance. Then, Capcom decided to be a group of whiners at the blue bomber with Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge. This game is not the Mega Man I know and love. Here's my review.

Gameplay: Oh Noes Capcom, what did you do to my favorite game franchise? When you begin the game, you are asked to select one of six characters. Each character has a different storyline and different powers. Before you go into battle, you are asked to whether or not to build your Program Deck. You can use up to nine standard use Chips, as well as Slot In Chips, used manually with the Left or Right triggers. Between the Slot In chips is your Navi's mark, which lets you switch Navi Chips, and you use that Navi. After you build or edit your Program Deck, battle begins. Unfortunately for the battle system of the game, it is completely awful. You watch your Navi battle his opponent, which completely hurts the game badly. But there is a certain command. Like I said earlier, when your custom gauge on the bottom left goes to a higher point, you can press the Left or Right triggers to use a Slot In chip. If you do it too early, the Slot In is failed and that Slot In Chip is deleted in the entire battle. Speaking of Chips being deleted, not only do you hit your opponent, but you also hit one of your opponent's Chips. Even with the battle controls, the battle system is still completely horrific.

Graphics: The graphics are same with the Battle Network games.

Sound: The sound effects are also the same from the BN games, with different music which is sometimes annoying.

Value: Due to the game's mediocre battle system, there is hardly any replay value whatsoever.

Tilt: Overall, MMBCC is the worst Mega Man game ever. The battle system is complete garbage, which makes the game almost unplayable, with sometimes annoying music. I would only recommend this game to the most hardcore Mega Man Battle Network fan. For everybody else, you're better off avoiding this game, and spending your cash on another Mega Man game.
