Mega Man 9 finally comes out in good old NES style and giving the biggest challenge yet to Mega Man gamers.

User Rating: 9.5 | Mega Man 9 WII
When I heard about this game, I was excited, but what got me more excited is when I found out it was going back to the old NES style as those games in the series are my favorites.

GAMEPLAY:
I will admit, while I was very excited for this game, I was also worried there would be some flaws, and it's not the first time Mega Man games have had them (a couple of the NES games and a couple of the X games have them) but this game met all my positive expectations and even surpassed a few. The game is by far the hardest of all Mega Man games I ever played. So unless you are a hardcore gamer, you will not survive this game. None of the difficulty if from brokeness, it's all by design, I can not find a flaw in it. The story is pretty standard but not bad either, I find it more in depth then the other 8-bit games and it also has some cut scenes to add to it, one of them I found to be kind of funny. There's also time attacks, achievements/challenges, and a few other things, including soon to be downloaded the ability to play as Protoman with a different part of the story and a even more difficult mode.

SOUND:
Classic 8-bit greatness. I find the music in this game to be some of the best Mega Man music ever (excluding Wily Stage 1 & 2 in Mega Man 2, nothing tops that). The music alone is to me a reason to play, so I can listen to something catchy as I play a video game.

GRAPHICS:
As I said, it's all 8-bit, and it does a good job, even pushes some things that would have been on the NES to the limits, I would have been even more impressed if this was an actual NES rom showing all this.

OVERALL:
To any who hate on this for being 8-bit, I am sorry to say I think you are out of your minds, I would have dones anything to see a new NES game in this day and age. I love the classics. I personally think this may be the best Mega Man game ever made.
