The 7th instalment of the adventures of the Blue Bomber. The last game on the NES tried to put an end to the series by having Mega Man finaly arrest Dr. Wily. But apperently the old doctor figured that would happen, so he set timers on a batch of new robot masters and they manage to cause enough havok for Dr. Wily to escape. What is different about this addition to the Mega Man series is that it introduces the new trend of having to fight only 4 robot masters, hit a story involved simi-stage, then move on to the other 4 masters. The other new addition is a shop that you can now visit, using bolts you pick up in the levels to buy items and power ups. The graphics have been improved, and so have the sound effects and the music, but the overall fun is not what is used to be. The music seems more generic and the levels and bosses are less imaginative. This is not unexpected, there has been 6 other Mega Man games and they must be running out of ideas. Still, it is not a horrable game, just one in a series that is starting to show it's age.
