Gameplay is good, but repetitive battles may get boring.

Medieval II: Total Wars is something like a board-game turned into a Video Game for the PC. There are turns in which different Factions will move around and conquer other Factions. As said before, the strategically gameplay of the game is amazing but repetitive battles may get really annoying.

There is also too much to check during the campaign, such as checking each and every civilization that is under your control. If you have to check whether the population is happy or whether it is under attacked by another Faction, or there is a riot going on etc; Overall I think that the game focuses only on the battlefield section. The campaign mode is good but it doesn't deserve a rating of 8.0. To those who are a fan of these types of games, I say maybe you could go for it.

It's not as good as Age of Empires series but its definitely a good strategical game.
