The best medieval strategy game of all!

I have always been a strategy game fan, since imemorial times! Looking for the best in each theme and genre, I have played a lot of titles through out the years.

Starcraft is the favourite sci-fi experience for me, while Warcraft rules the fantasy kind. Civilization IV and, perhaps, Rise of Nations are the best in human evolution and world domination.

But how about the medieval age? That period in history that every boy have dreamed, at least one time in his life, to live in! For many years I have believed that Age of Empires II was the best of all. The game truly is amazing and deserves a place in the hall of strategy games for pc! However, today I have played Medieval II Total War... and it has changed my mind! No doubts here, nor questions to ask! This one, my friends, is the best medieval strategy game of all!

Here are some facts:

1. Incredible medieval history accuracy in every aspect of the game. Faction flags, city names, historical units, terrain geography, etc...

2. Outstanding gameplay with battle clashes of 10.000 soldiers and horses trembling the earth.

3. Awesome graphics: flaming arrows and rocks, shining knights, weather effects (rain, lightning bolts, snow, night attacks), majestic cities and castles (each one with its unic architectural design)

4. Excellent sound: actor voices, sword clashes, flying arrows, horses, siege weapons, etc... Believe me, it is all there!

5. Stunning replay value!

By far this game is the best in series, including Rome, Empire and Napoleon (Past, Present and Future). Why haven´t you bought this one, yet?

For me it is perfect and I owe Creative Assembly a 10!!!
