No online multiplayer which was a disapointment but the campaign is AWSOME.

User Rating: 9.2 | Medal of Honor: European Assault PS2
I have played and beaten every Metal of Honor in the Playstations series both PS1 and PS2 and I would say this is surely the best thought out and most intense out of the series. The open battle field thing isn't really what you would expect but still works much better then following the narrow trail. In this series its not really about walking that path and killing the two bots guarding the gate or the bot in the window one at a time or two at a time. In European Assult when you come around that corner your in an area of battle. Your mission is not to kill the two bots on that trail but to hold down an area and push your enemy back, once you win over that area you move up the field and so on. I love it. The use of cover implemented into the game is awsome. I fell like It puts me deeper into the game. I like to shut off the lights and turn up the volume on the surround sound and just sink into the game. My wife knows when my office door is shut i'm not really there. I've traveled to what ever digital world i'm into at the time. The team function and moving your team around is kinda cool. You can't do much with them command wise but they are very usefull at times. The level matching is very nicely done. When you finish a level and begin the next it doesn't feel like you just jumped from on charater to another or from one battle to another. You know. You get to that building that you had to capture. The the next level starts with you holding that building down under heavy fire. Then continous. Obviously you can tell i'm really enjoying this game and I think you will too. So in conclusion I was very impressed with European Assult. If your a fan of The Metal of Honor series check this game out.
