MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, has a lot of potential wasted on a bland environment, campaign, and voice acting.
The Bad: The game's environment is boring and doesn't have a lot to it. The voice acting is terrible, and no customization.

MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf is "mech" game that has you playing as a character that is set out on various missions in the campaign mode. Those missions are varied, but you mostly blow stuff up and battle other mechs. The story is not to interesting and you will probably ignore it if you are right in the mind becuase of the annoying voice acting.
The environments in MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf are pretty lame. There is not much to them, a couple trees, mostly flat terrain, and maybe a city. The sky is a big turn-off, it is blank and the same color all the way through a level. The cities in the game though are cool. The cities can be destroyed and wrecked all you want. When you hit a building with one of your missiles, the lights flicker and they then go out completely. A cool touch I thought. The environments are destructible which makes the pretty lame environments not to bad. The voice acting though, is terrible. It is one of the low points of the game. One character must love to call everyone "sir". He is the most annoying character I have ever met in a game. His voice makes you want to skip the cut-scenes all together. The characters in this game are not mentioned a lot and you do not get to know the characters a lot, making them being there seem pointless.
The game itself plays well. Your mech is very controllable. Your mech can be different as there are different kinds. Your weapons on your mech are your guns, missles, and lasers/plasma. Your mech can either have: a shield or a invisibility option. Certain mechs based on your mech's class can fly (hover) or not. Those are you mechs features. They are not to great, but not bad. I would recommend this game, but there is not enough to keep playing and wanting to play it again.
