Very surreal. And fun.

This is one of the first games I ever played. Or rather one of the first games I ever watched being played by my dad as I was too young/unco/scared to try it when I was a wee lad of 7. When I did finally muster a certain degree of strength to play it when I was about 14, I was completely mesmerised by this wacky game. I mean, your parachute is made from ribbons - how does that even work. The answer is that IT DOESN'T (actually...yes. Yes, it does work). Also, you have a chaingun/sniper rifle/mortar launcher/other obscure projectile dispensing unit that doubles as a helmet, BUT you hold it in your hand when firing it. CRRAAA-ZZZY.

The graphics for its time were pretty IMPRESSIVE. True 3D, unlike Duke Nukem or whatever which used sprites. The levels are pretty insane, some are wacky colourful ones, some are dark apocalyptic looking dystopia types. ALL ARE FUN. The characters are hilarious. You have a sidekick dog with 4 arms who flies a crazy aircraft which drops fang-like bombs onto any target you designate. The enemies are also strange. Pretty much all of them seem to be robotic, there's even a crazy sort of cyborg-hound thing. Also suicide bomber grunts that scream while running at you carrying a huge explosive shell.
