One of my favorite games of all time
This game combines the turn based city building and researching of Civilization with the turn based chess movement style combat of the first X-Com. Being able to customize your wizard from the start to either master an entire book of spells or dab into a few was one of my favorite features.
This is an old Dos based game with graphics that were good for it's time, but if you would like to try a Civilization game with a Magic concept to it and you don't mind playing classics, give this a shot. You'll be wondering, like I do, where the sequel is.
I've tried newer games like Majesty and Disciples in hopes of finding the next Master of Magic, but no like. Hopefully someday there will be a MoM clone that's updated for our time.
