I honestly am not sure, why so many people gave such a strong critique to ME: A. I, personally, played a lot of Bioware games and I see that they used the same (old) engine for animations in Andromeda. So it's nothing something I didn't see in their games before. I am usually quite a picky gamer, but the amount of content and quality of actual gameplay content that Andromeda has, easily dispels all the "negativity" from animations. I started playing the game after the latest patch and other than one line of VO missing in one scene, the game is very polished, plays very smooth, I have practically no hitches or any kind of performance issues (PC, SSD, GTX 1080).
It's one of the best looking games in ME series and one of the most fun ones. Maybe average gamer is getting really spoiled and picky today, I play Andromeda kind of casually, even though 2-3 hours a day 4-5 days a week and it's a blast. Inventory is a bit quirky, but only in crafting, you can't compare craftables to your equipped items - nothing that would kill the interest to the whole game for me, or made it unplayable, you just need to know your equipment.
Anyways, if you are avid fan of ME series, don't listen to so many cry babies. I think most of them didn't even try the game yet. I don't know what it plays like on consoles, but PC is a way to go for this one, imho. It's an awesome game in ME series. Will be definitely looking forward to part 2 and 3.
