Bioware didn't QA test this game before release.

User Rating: 7.5 | Mass Effect 3 X360
One of this game's biggest selling points of this game was it's user feature to be able to personalize your own Shepard in the game, going back to the original Mass Effect game, it was touted as a option that players will carry with them throughout the entire trilogy. The sequel Mass Effect 2 delivered on it's promise allowing players to carry over their custom character, most who imported from the original Mass Effect saw their CC get enhanced with even better details than regular character creations. Players also got to see how the choices they made from the original were adopted and shaped their story in the game.
Fast forward two years later Mass Effect 3 arrives and the promise dry up like water on a hot skillet, suddenly past player choices you've made in the previous games are overridden by preset derivatives. But worst of all long time consumers and fans of this franchise who've been apart of this series since it's release in 2007 were dealt a harsh blow when starting up Mass Effect 3 for the first time only to discover that they could no longer import their personalized Shepard to the 3rd game. You're force to rebuild your character completely from scratch and to top it off the enhancements and features that was apart of the character creation in the previous two games are gone, so it's impossible to replicate your original Shepard.
I don't know if this was intentional or if this is an oversight on Bioware's part but it completely ruins the game for me and many others who were anxiously waiting to continue the story to complete the saga after supporting this series for so long. But not being able to import your own creation which was the core part of the original series is a huge slap in the face to fans and all around who are unaware of this problem and are interested in playing Mass Effect.
