Mass Effectt 2 is an amazing video game and one of the best I have ever played!!
Pros: There are a lot of pros to Mass Effect 2. One pro would be the story. I liked the concept and it kept me wanting more. Every time I thought one thing was going to happen, some thing else unexpected happens. It featured great voice acting by some actors that I actually recognized. Also, I love the concept of having a suicide mission and everyone is saying that Commander Shepard and his crew wouldn't make it out alive. One of the shockers of the game is that anyone can die at the suicide mission depending on how you play the game. It all depends on chooses and the things you do. Also, the story is so good that you will actually be glued into it and you will feel that you are actually Commander Shepard in that situation. Building Relationships with members of your crew is also fun and interesting. You get a bunch of dialogue with that person and you can hear their back story and all kinds of things. The customization was also a good part of Mass Effect 2. Making Commander Shepard look how you want him too look is just another little thing that I liked. The gameplay was smooth other than a few minor things like aiming behind a wall and Shepard aiming the wrong way shooting at random spots. The graphics are great. Every planet that you go to has it's own feel to it. I can go on and on about everything that makes Mass Effect 2 great. If some don't believe me, just go out and buy the game and see for yourself.
Cons: There are not a lot of cons to this game. Other than a few bugs and glitches that you will really not notice. They don't occur and the game actually never freezes. As for bugs and glitches, what game doesn't have them and the game actually doesn't have a lot. One thing I actually was not a fan was the really long loading screens. They were endless and I didn't enjoy them, but the game is great so it should bother you, but not that much. One other thing I hated was scanning planets for things. That was so boring and you have to do it if you want upgrades for weapons and stuff. There is no fun in it at all trust me.
I have played Mass Effect 2 3 times or more so I know a lot about it. It was a really fun game and one of my favorites. It sucks that I never got to play Mass Effect 1, but I will get the chance to when Mass Effect Trilogy hits for PS3 in December. At the time when I was playing this, I was really mad that I didn't get to experience the first game but I'm glad I get to now. Anyway, Mass Effect 2 is an amazing game and I encourage anyway who loves great video games to go and get Mass Effect 2 because you won't be disappointed.
