One of the hardest things to achieve in a video game series is to keep the sequels as good or even better than the original game - in this department, Spider Man 2 hits the spot!
Everything great about the 2 previous games is kept on this sequel and built on top of it. The animations somehow get even better, the gameplay overall seems even more fluid, they perfectly adapted the secondary missions to this new 2 character dynamic, I mean its done perfectly!
The fact we get to play with both protagonists in the same game it's something we saw before but its done beautifully here.
They kept the side missions and their rewards interesting enough and I found myself doing them in a very organic way. The introduction of the wings that allow you to fly through Manhattan is just a fantastic idea - I have mostly positive things to say about this amazing achievement of a sequel. The plot is engaging and it makes sense having in mind the past events - they introduce new very well known characters from the comics and in the context of Marvel it makes sense.
The only criticism I would draw is actually on the plot itself, so many characters are introduced that at some point it seems a bit overwhelming and it takes a bit of the suspense of the entire show. There are countless threats so you start to slowly discredit them and by the end even the major antagonist loses a bit of its interest.
Other than that it's an amazing gaming achievement, I feel they are stretching it now with the very likely sequel to come but let's see!
