Very little substance

User Rating: 5 | Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Episode 2: Under Pressure XONE

The biggest pro of this episode that I would like to point out would be the backstory involving Rocket. It's one of the most touching moments in Telltale history and a true highlight of this episode. IMO - It's the only redeeming part of this episode.

The rest of the story kind of goes nowhere. The guardians' debate on what to do and how to use this super weapon they get their hands on and that's pretty much it. The last third of the episode deals with a small attack on the ship and soon after the credits start to roll. Nothing else happens aside from the backstory involving Rocket, which explains why he wants to use the eternity forge.

I would also like to point out that this is an incredibly short episode. It only takes about an hour, possibly less depending on how quickly you pay, to complete. That's how little substance is in this episode. It's all cutscenes and listening to dialogue. There are no big moral choices at all either because, much like the first episode, you're just gonna end up on the same course anyways.

Overall: 5/10
If it wasn't for Rocket's backstory, This episode would have been rated so much lower by me. There's nothing going on in this episode. Every action or decision in this episode could have been quickly done and we could have moved on from. Honestly, You probably could have combined the next two episodes into one and save people some money.
