Total letdown

User Rating: 3 | Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Episode 2: Under Pressure XONE

Audio:
Not really much in the way of voice acting due to lack of dialogue. The soundtrack has been cut back quite a bit and that's disappointing as it's a very looked forward to part of the game imo.

Visuals:
Not as many bugs this time around but you can still notice a few, Especially the awkward transition when going from game play to cut scenes. There's this weird little stutter before going to a cut scene, It's annoying.

Game Play:
Not gonna cover this section as I covered it in episode 1 and nothing has changed.

Other:
Very, Very short, It only took me an hour to beat. Rocket's backstory is explored in this episode and it's easily one of the saddest moments in Telltale history. The main story really goes no where this episode and ends on an annoying cliff hanger that was absolutely needless. The big fight scene at the end felt needless and didn't need to be added at all, I'd have rather had that cut in order to make room for more plot advancement. I also feel that Nebula is a rather pointless addition so far in the game. I am also disappointed with how type cast the characters are treated, Let's break the norm a bit like how they did with Rocket and prove they can be more than their generic personalities.

Overall: 3/10
The first episode was so promising with the way it ending and in episode two, It comes to a total and complete stop. Very short, No plot advancement and still suffers from noticeable bugs. Rocket's backstory is the only thing that saved this game from getting a lower rating. I am very disappointed with how this series has turned out so far.
