We have waited over 10 years for a new Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Capcom 3 was definitely worth the wait.

The new Marvel vs Capcom 3 is definitely a fun game to play. The roster isn't as huge as Marvel vs Capcom 3 but it is still huge with over 36 playable characters. The gameplay in Marvel vs Capcom 3 is more fast pace than MvC 2 and the combo system is better than ever. The air combos are exciting to perform and each character has fantastic and unique hyper combos. The graphics in the game are now 3D characters but still fighting on a 2D battlefield. Each character is fun to play with especially the new characters that are in MvC3 like Dante, Deadpool, and Chris. Their combos are insane and their moves are awesome. Also each character has 4 unique outfits to choose from. Voices of characters and sounds are alright.

The story line is so short I don't even think you can consider it a story line. All I know is the boss in Marvel vs Capcom 3 is Galactus and you have to stop him from destroying Earth. Galactus is powerful and can sometimes kill one of your characters in under 3 moves, which can get really frustrating sometimes. The endings for each character are confusing and some character's endings don't really make sense with the story line.

In Marvel vs Capcom 3 you now earn player points for playing the game. The more player points you get the more emblems and titles you unlock. You can use them to customize your profile. Then you can play online in ranked or player match. Both modes still have insanely good players that will test your level. As you rank up the players you face online will get really good. Sometimes online players tend to cheese you by doing a move over and over again while sitting on the side or using an ability that's hard to beat( like Phoenix's Dark Phoenix ability) but hey if the game lets you use it then you should use it. The exp rate is not that fast but it isn't that slow so ranking up is pretty easy.

Overall, this game was hella worth the wait. The combo system is better than ever,a lot of characters are fun to play as, and hyper combos are sweet to perform. The roster is fairly big not as many as MvC2's roster though. The online mode is great there aren't any bugs but can be a bit laggy if you play from players in another country. You can compare your skills to a player in Japan isn't that fun? :D If you loved Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2 then you will definitely love MvC 3.
