As boring as the day is long
Also the map is so bland and untextured.. Its so linear, enclosed, and all the pathways are extremely narrow. The dev's tried to play it off like you are in an open world and get to explore the camp at your own leisure with various side quests along the way.. But honestly.. it couldn't be further from it. Its about as linear as it gets. Every area looks exactly like the last, even when you advance to a completely different camp it looks exactly the same. The objective in the beggining of the game is to escape the prison but WOW they make it sooo boring with thousands of little things you have to do before "the big day" to prepare your escape. It is so tedious and boring that i just eventually screamed "LETS FREAKING GO ALREADY" and when you finally leave you just fight like 5 guards and thats it.. All leading up to that was pointless because the train you planned to take doesnt even work because the conductor decided it would be a good idea to die instead.
So i was like "cool" now we can probably experience the LONG journey to the next camp!! We can now experience the open desert and experience this long grueling journey we have done so many quests to gather items and prepare for! But bam you just appear in the next camp hundreds of miles away just fine and healthy..
Than it starts ALLLL over again with millions of tedious little BS quests and hitting people with your stupid stick and nailgun.
Oh yeah thats one thing that really bothered me also, how you didnt even get to use your guns like a real third person shooter, you just right click and he lifts up the nailgun and fires it.. Theres no real shooting mechanic. This game might as well be one of those games where you just click on your enemy and your player just auto attacks.. Because thats pretty much how boring it is.
The graphics are all so bland and cheap. Did i say that already? Just nothing at all looks even halfway decent.
And the perks and the salvage system has about as much depth as my slipper. All the perks are like "increase damage by 50%, increase critical hit chance by 15%" its so stupid and non-original at all.
Do yourself a favor and buy a different game.
