Mario Party For N64.

Nintendo just produced an awesome party game to provide fun for all ages. Just on problem though don’t hurt yourself with this game. This game has awesome boards to play on and brilliantly designed mini games and characters. This game will provide fun for hours and keep you coming back for more. It is the bomb to play with friends but isn’t all that fun to play alone with the computers. The mini games are the most spectacular things and quite a bit of though went into this game. The graphics look good in this game and are smooth flowing, the sound and music in this game sounds great and the music goes with the game. The control of the game is pretty simply most of the time but some of the mini games get confusing. But be aware about the Control stick problem with the game as you spin it quite often and you can even rub down to the bare skin. Remember this when your play so you don't hurt yourself.

Gameplay : The gameplay of the game is responsive and all the configuration of the buttons for this game is well done. The character that you are playing feels responsive and quick moving during most if the mini games. The controls are simple and easy to use with easy on screen instruction menus to tell you the button commands. The using of the N-64 controller feels and works pretty good with this awesome party game. Most of the time when the control is bad is because of the camera angle on the mini games theres only one view so it sometimes gets confusing. In Mario Party, you will do several things. You will collect stars, buy items, play mini-games, the list goes on and on. In adventure mode, you go to a board of your choosing. There are a bunch of a boards to choose from, each one has it's own layout, design, difficulty, etc. When you arrive, you will start playing. You and your opponents/teammates will roll a dice and move around the board. There are endless spaces you can land on, like blue spaces, red spaces, chance spaces, you know like a board game! The most common are the blue and red spaces. If you land on a blue space, you will get three coins, but if you land on a red space, you will lose three coins. These spaces also determine what type of mini-game you play. For example, if you all land on blue spaces, you will play a 4 player mini-game at the end of each turn. If two of you land on a red space, and two of you land on a blue space, it will be a 2 on 2 mini-game. If three land on blue, and one lands on red, it will be a 3 on 1 mini-game. By the way, you always have to play with four people. There are so many different mini-games it's not funny. So instead of sitting here for another five hours describing them all to you, I'll just say that they are all fun. In Mario Party, you will collect stars. These are basically the whole point of the game. They will unlock a secret board after you collect 100. You will also collect coins which can be used to buy items. There are endless things to do in Mario Party, and you will love every bit of it!

Sound : The sounds in this game are very detailed and sound great as well as the chosen music. The music chosen goes with the board you are playing on. Ranging from happy fast beat music to more scary music. All of the characters voices and noises made are well detailed and sound awesome. The music and sounds on this game were well chosen and fit in with the game perfectly. All of the voices are really detailed although Marios voice is still the high pitched voice. I really like the sounds and music in this game and it just goes to show you what Nintendo and Huson can do!

Graphics : The graphics are awesome. The characters look great and are really detailed. The boards, mini games, and characters are all detailed and look great in 64-bit format. Everything and board has it’s own touch and little extras to surprise you. Each board has it’s own items and great looking/well detailed graphics just what the Nintendo 64 is known for. The mini games are really detailed and have all kinds of little detailing. I can't say anything bad here besides the camera views on some of the mini games maybe about 4 of them are a little confusing but once you get use to them it's a snap.

The game has 50 mini game to keep you entertained and each character has their own level full of surprises. It might take you a while to collect the 100 stars but even after that it will still always be a great party game to play with friends or others. With all of the boards to play through it won’t get boring to fast. The mini games are the best though and keep you coming back for more theres some really cool ones that are amazingly fun to play. The only thing is it's not really that entertaining by playing by yourself.

The game seams easy. Although collecting everything may take a little while the game is pretty easy. All you do is go through the boards collecting money/coins and stars. The stars are the most important although the money helps you if you want to play a specific mini game without playing through the boards.

If you want an awesome party game for the Nintendo 64 this is for you. If you have never played a party game you may want to rent this title first or check out the second one. Kids love this game and if you have more than one they'll be hooked on it.
