.......Actually, unless you're pretty serious, this game is absolutely fun and entertaining. Returning after a decade from hiatus since the 64 era, Mario Party 2 still does well and remains a great multiplayer game for anyone to enjoy. I shall avoid explaining the details of gameplay and graphics due to it being re-released, but how it's effective in this modern era will be discussed.
The emulator on the Wii runs exactly the same as the original, and even better due to the fact you no longer have to blow on the cartridge like back then. Also, the sound and graphics of the game transitioned very well, though some sounds are a bit choppy at certain, but small moments (i.e showing location of stars). Third, the mini-games and other features remain greatly intact and will keep the replayability motor running for quite a good while. Nostalgia obviously will plant in your heads as you once again re-live the good ol' days of stealing each other's stars, forming uncomfortable alliances, vie for money, and defeating Bowser. Mario Party 2 is great classic game to download and I recommend it greatly.
