first of all this is mario kart wii, it sucks that the creators screwed it up with new items with mushroom cloud and ground pow. its near impossible to stay first with blue shells and ground pows. i didnt have this problem with other mario karts, like the DS which in my opinion is one the best out there. an in-turn is frustrating as you think you couldnt have done better yet you finish 4th and etc. i keep on playing only to get f*cked up by items. last time i played i almost destroyed the cover for which i paid £20 for. also there are things that temporally speed you up without mushrooms. i call them 'jammy boosts. on the other hand i liked how there are 8 cups, motobikes, characters and more people in a race as there are 12 positions. also i like how for online you just join instantly instead of creating a lobby and waiting for people to join. so if you naturally suck at racing mario kart is for you, if you want to win a race by your own skills sonic and sega all stars racing is for you.
