Mario Kart Wii has been around for several years now, so why can't i do a review about it then?

User Rating: 9 | Mario Kart Wii (w/ Racing Wheel) WII
Mario Kart has been around since the 1990's, starting with Super Mario Kart, then in 1997 Nintendo made another Mario kart game, then they moved onto Mario Kart Double Dash, then Mario Kart DS and finally Mario Kart Wii. At the time of writing the Mario Kart series is on Mario Kart 7 (3DS). But thats another review to do for another day. Mario Kart Wii is one of the few games you MUST own on the wii. and this review will prove it to you.

Mario Kart Wii is possibly the greatest kart game in the world, and on the wii for that matter. There is little to say about this game which is already been said, so i might sound like a broken record when i say, "Mario Kart Wii brings multiplayer to the masses!". The game has 4 different modes, Single player Grand Prix, Single Player coin runners, Single player balloon popper, up to 4 players on ALL the minigames (the coin runners and balloon popper games).

It also has Nintendo WFC connection so you can play with up to 12 people around the globe, which improves the service which was on "Mario Kart: Double Dash!", and this time, you can choose your characters this time, not them selecting them for you while online. On the subject of characters, Mario Kart offers a wide range of characters from the Mario series. from Baby Mario (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island/ Yoshi Island DS) to Dry Bowser (New Super Mario Bros. DS). As you progress through the grand prix, you'll unlock more and more characters.

You can also do some time trials, which allow you to do 3 laps on a certain track while competing either against yourself or a staff ghost.

While a short review, Mario Kart Wii Deserves a well honoured 9.0 out of 10, simply because its amazing to play, though it isn't perfect.
