Mario kart double dash is a very fun multiplayer and has fairly good replay value, but it could have had more tracks.

I first played Mario kart double dash at my uncles place and at first it blew me away with its stunning graphics and sounds and game play, but i thought that only because i played on the Nintendo 64 for so long, and compared to some other games for the GameCube it wasn't the best the GameCube had to offer, but still a great game non the less.

The controls were very nice and the control stick's sensitivity added a nice touch, some people don't like that but that's probably because they are so used to Mario kart 64's controls. The soundtrack and sound affects weren't to memorable, but they still fit very well with the game. The large roster of characters and combinations will keep you playing for months. And the game play is pretty good for a racing game.

This may not be the best installment in the series but certainly a memorable one.
