this game is your typical mario kart but is different for 3 reasons. these 3 reasons are: 1 there are namco characters in it. 2 once you choose your character the game takes your picture and uses it as your icon. and 3 this one i could do without, there are "sets" of items and each set is randomly choosen before each race. but those differences aside this is just like the mario karts in the past. but its more like the SNES, N64, and GBA ones because you're using the default "pipeframe" karts. but who cares if you can't choose your kart, you get pac-man! and the items are different too. now there are paintbrushes and frying pans that you throw instead of shells. the graphics are great, like a PS2/x-box game. well now i'm waiting for a maio kart with ratchet in it. :(
