This game is terrible but I loved it as a kid and I still do. Something about it is awesome.

Mario Kart 64 was the first effort in putting the idea of Mario racing on the Nintendo 64. Needless to say pretty much everything about the game itself is too young to make it as fluent as it could have been. I played it for the first time in years and realized there are too many flaws to count on one hand, but that is not the point. Mario Kart 64 has a charm that is hard to match. It is nowhere near the greatest game ever made nor the greatest racing game ever made, but it has a special place in the heart of everyone who had or has a Nintendo 64. This is one of the most difficult games to do a review on because it has such a ridiculous cult following of which I am easily a part of. I would not recommend this game to any picky person, but to anyone who has some time to kill and some bored friends. This game will fill the time in flying colors.
