I havent enjoyed a golfing game this much since Hal's Hole In One on the SNES. Great golfing game with a touch of RPG.

I had never seen a game with a Role Playing twist to it, but Nintendo did a great job pulling it off. The game starts out with your character meeting up with your instructor and some other students. You find out what a great golf player your instructor once was and now he is making a comeback. I'm so happy for him, I really am.

You can walk freely around the clubhouse and some of its surrounding areas. You can experience different conversations depending on how you are doing with your golfing.

The golfing itself is a lot of fun too. Its not complicated to learn. Like with most golf games, you can adjust your aim, hit the ball high or low, hook and slice, etc. You also have to compensate for wind, and slow greens when its raining. You also have a doubles partner that will play along with you during doubles tournaments. After winning a tournament, you can distribute experience points between you and your partner for different golfing attributes. Kind of like a "level up."

The graphics on this handheld hit are great. I actually own the Gamecube version as well, and I honestly like this version better. Maybe its the Role Playing element, or the fact I played this version first, before the Gamecube. But either way, its a great golfing game. I play it occasionaly at work during breaks. You can save the game in the middle of your tournament, which is great. If you are a video game golf fan, this is definatley worth it.
