People come to Marble Blast Ultra because they want a good marble labyrinth game, right? It is XBLA's original answer to Marble Madness or Super Monkey Ball. MBU certainly delivers a satisfying amount of well designed proto-platformer courses to swiftly navigate against the clock. Leaderboards and achievements successfully push the incentive for practice and perfection, and hours will be milked testing your patience, ability, and luck against the harder stages.

However, long after the thrills and frustrations of the single player portion serve their purpose, the raucous multiplayer remains as the shining virtue of Marble Blast Ultra. It's an absolute blitzkrieg of marbles competitively chasing down gems to gain the highest score. Ridiculous power ups continuously pop off as players knock the sh*t out of each other in desperation to win.

It's one of the most absurdly entertaining gameplay experiences this generation of consoles.
