Marathon 2: Durandal

I'm going to make this very short and sweet.

This game is the entire reason I got interested in gaming in the first place. Without Bungie and Marathon 2: Durandal, I wouldn't be as interested in it as I am today.

This game is thoroughly engaging, as long as you take the time to read the terminals to the best of your abilities. The story will suck you in, and I feel it is the best FPS story ever told.

If you have never played this, you owe it to yourself to buy this, and learn why Halo is as amazing as it is. A great story, plus some amazing innovations (for its time) makes for a spectacular gaming experience.

I highly recommend this. I have beaten it multiple times in the 90's, with Aleph One, and now, on XBL.

  Marathon: Durandal is a great remake of the original, also including extra modes that are well worth the 800 points.
