i don't know ... as soon as i heard that this title was banned in some country due to excessive amounts of violence, of course i rushed right out to purchase Manuhunt. The game was expensive, so my value rating must be low. The action is slow and the relies a lot on stealth. you can hide in the shadows as the character from this game and wait for the baddies to walk by you. grabbing items from the environment (plastic bag, jagged glass, poles) and using them as weapons sounds intriguing doesn't it??? watching movies and replays of the most violent parts of this game and getting more points for committing your atrocities in the most violent fashion possible has to make this a good game ... right??? well, unfortunately this game just doesn't pan out. the game play is cumbersome. and the levels are flat and just down right boring ... all of the stealth action just naturally leads to a slower and therefore more boring game. the graphics are decent for the PS2 and some details from the game do add to the overall dark quality of Manhunt. sound is good and the sound of the character's pulsing heart during stealth moments does add to the eerieness. but overall my impression of this game is low and my reviewers tilt is just gonna be low because i can make it low ... i just didn't like this game ... it was boring ...gameplay was tediously difficult some times and the story was far fetched ... replayabilty is also low so mark more off of the value score ... just wasn't my cup of tea!
