If you have always enjoyed Zipper Interactive's SOCOM games, enjoyed playing Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield game series, then you may want to try MAG. Massive Action Game is the what MAG stands for, and believe me, this game is one Massive...Action...Game. With up 256 players in a single match, it's like the perfect online mulitplayer game. You can choose three Privite Military Compines, S.V.E.R., VALOR, or RAVEN. Each army has it's own unique and special skills and weapons. But the only thing you won't like is what army you choose is the army you stay comminted to, so choose wisely gamers. Once you choose your army, you can customize up to 5 different loadouts, with 3 already made for you to start, but you can tweek them if you like. Of course you have standards, Commandos aka Soldiers, Snipers, Heavy weapons soldiers. Once you have done that, your ready to go, it will only take you up to just level eight to actually start playing with 256 players. If you think 256 players is the main thing about MAG...well it's not MAG. MAG also features leadership postions working your way up to Squad Leader, then Platoon Leader, and yes even Company Leader which gives you full command of your army in a single match. But this takes time and a lot of playing as well. So if you can make the commintment, it will be well worth it. MAG has several game modes. Supprison for just team deathmatch only going against your own army. Sabatge where your objection on attacking is to tak out two satille uplinks and advance to the final objective. Acquistion where you must steal your enemies APC's and bring them back. And Domination is where you must try to completey wipe out your enemies base from Burnoff towers to bunkers. These matches can be long due to the amount of objectives you must complete. You will also receive bounes points if you do what your commander told you to do and attack the objective that your squad was given to attack or defend at the start of the match. The thing I love about MAG is that when play with 256 players, not only it's a lot of kills you can try and get points for various objectives while playing the different game modes. So if you see MAG at your local store try it out. In my experince of playing MAG, I never had to much lag while playing with 256 players. So the game runs good with 128 players on each side. It is also a balanced game so no unevenness going on while playing. MAG is one seriously strong compentive Massive Action Game and it's a serious buy.
