MAG is a breath of fresh air when in comes to first person shooters. For once, not every player is running around like Rambo and there are no idiotic 10 year old brats talking trash online like COD. This game is more team based and if you don't want to work with your team, you won't last long. Gunfire is all over the map. Trust me, you want tto be a team player and help your team out as much as you can. By doing so, if your team wins the more experience you get and the faster you can upgrade your character. You will get "points" after each level to upgrade skills, weapons or gear. Healing team members or achieving mission objectives are as important as taking down an enemy with a headshot. Everybody has a role to play on MAG.
I have played about 20 hours of MAG online and it has only crapped out on me twice. Considering there's 256 players online, that's a pretty amazing feat. I have encountered zero lag and each game loads so damn fast. There's little to no waiting. Compared to Fry Cry 2 which takes forever to play a game with 16 players, MAG throws you into the action pretty fast.

UPDATE: I have just changed my review score for MAG. I am changing it from a 8.5 to a 7.5. I have logged in over 120 hours of playing time and I have reached Level 60 with Valor. One thing that really bugged me was the poor cover system. Many times I was way out of the line of fire ducking around a corner of a building and still would get shot. Bullets fly straight, they do not turn around corners! This was very annoying and there should be a better cover system for MAG 2.
