As I fan of Mafia 2, I was looking forward to Mafia 3. I eventually bought it and boy am I regretting it. The game you play as Lincoln Clay a man who is a former Vietnam solider who comes back from war and ends up meeting Vito in the game. What I really wanted was this game to be about Vito rather than have a new character be introduced. New Bordeaux(New Orleans) is really beautiful but I find the city to be lifeless. I think what I hate is that the missions are really repetitive, this game really reminds me of The Godfather 2. In that Godfather 2 you earned money for families and went and took over their establishments and got generals and people to help you take out people. This is what Mafia 3 is and it's really boring after awhile. What I do like is being able to unlock upgrades for Lincoln like weapon ammo, health, and new weapons and body armor. I had to force myself to beat this game and I kinda enjoyed it. It wasn't great by any means and some of the missions had me dying quickly. I enjoyed the DLC more than the actual missions from the game. The DLC was fun and it looks like Hanger 18 really had fun making them feel different than the regular missions. If you can get Mafia 3 then get it for cheap but don't pay full price.
