It's not the kind of game I'd usually play but I really enjoyed it.
The story was well written and I enjoyed finding out what the next mission would be. They are fun and varied and not boring at all. Well maybe a little. There is one particular mission where you have to evade the cops in a truck and it annoyed me a little because you have to be really precise in the first few seconds or it's mission failed.
It felt like I was playing an interactive movie at times. Or watching a crime drama. I will definitely be playing Mafia II and Mafia III. I want to see what else happens in a gangster's life.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a good story game.
