Maestro! Jump in Music (or simply M!JM) is a glimpse of originality in many ways, and at the same time just plain fun. M!JM mix rhythm and gameplay in a unique style, with all of that famous classic music that we always hear and learned to love, but were afraid to ask: whtat's the name of this song again.
At first, it can look like a awfully boring and simple game, but when you can put your hands to work with the dynamic gameplay you realize that is a game never felt before. Is just pick up your stylus and interact with the elements that appear in the screens while Presto, the main characther, runs along a long string. Very simple, but the visual effects joined with the music can create a rare way of seeing rhythm and there are so many variety of movements that goes from pulling a string to spinnin a black hole in the outer space only to produce songs is very pleasant. But with so many things happennig at the same time some gamers will find a very intense line of difficulty.
The music in the game is soberb, and so eclectic, going since the know names in the orchestra, like Mozart, until a classic version of ABC from Jackson's Five (Michael is not dead). Though the music is so special in the game that it is even hard to describe this game being impartial.
The game doesn't grow old until the end, and when you first finish the game a new tool is added in the gameplay: the microphone. Yeah, now you can sing your songs while you play, and in a FUNCTIONAL way. But, even though the game has the most of replayability a game can have, M!JM just feels too short for it own good.
In conclusion, the game doesn't come without it limitations, but is so unique and a breath of originality that is worth of it, very worth of it. Besides, Beethoven never were so fun. XD
