Graphics 9.5/10 Naturally, today's sports sims have incredible graphics. The players walk, tackle, and run with a fluid motion that could almost be mistaken for a real game. When creating a new player, several new options have been added, including tattoos. The only problems with the player models are the face and skin. Even a 'dark' skinned character looks very light, and the faces still don't look quite as real as I think they should. Still, if you want great graphics, this is the game to get.

Gameplay 10/10 Every good Madden game has great options to fully enjoy your game. Updated yet again this year is the ever popular Franchise mode. This year, Owner's mode has been added, which allows you to control essentially everything you would ever want to control about your team, including ticket prices, concessions, and even parking prices. After the end of each season, you can hire new coaches, and *get this* you can not only rebuild your stadium, but you can move your entire team to a new city, selecting from a huge list of cities. After that, you can do the usual jobs of the draft, and re-signing players.

Music and Sound 7.5/10The on-the-field sound is realistic, as usual, but to tell the truth, I had never even heard of any of the songs in the playlist. Also, I find several of them to be rather odd selections when compared to previous Madden games.

Satisfaction 9/10This game can keep a person busy and happy for hours upon hours. There are 2 reasons that it doesn't get a 10, however. The first is that Franchise mode takes up 185 blocks of memory, which means that a memory card 251 is required to save it. Also, it takes almost a full minute to save a Franchise, and that time can seem like an eternity when you want to play.

Rent/Buy BuyThis really depends on what you plan on doing. If you just want to play a few games with your favorite team, you may want to rent it, especially if you have an older version of Madden, such as 2002 or 2003. If you plan on fully enjoying the expanded Franchise mode, however, I would definitely recommend Buying this game.

Overall 9.7/10 The only major downsides to this game is the amount of memory it requires, but almost any sports lover will love this game. It continues the awesome line of Madden games, and is a worthy purchase.
