Madden 2003 carries a much better gameplay system than its predecessors. The camera angle is much better, allowing you to see all of your receivers and then some. The controls are much improved, so it is much easier to pass the ball.

Madden 2003 is the first football title that is nice enough to allow the player to actually want to play it more than once. It isn't nearly as impossible to play through a season as it has been with previous titles.
