Another cheap remake of last year's game but with more added frustration

User Rating: 5 | Madden NFL 12 X360
EA continues to disappoint NFL fans by creating a broken, frustrating gameplay experience. I am going to review the game solely on the football gameplay experience, not the added or subtracted bonus elements like scouting.

In the NFL, LB's are not usually athletes who can jump 10 feet off the ground to intercept a ball thrown to a receiver 10 yards behind them. CB's don't usually break off their man in man coverage to intercept a ball thrown to a receiver covered by another. These unrealistic gameplay elements make this year's Madden forgettable and a waste of $60.

The new gameplay element of hot or cold streaks really make the football experience even more unrealistic. NFL QB's aren't as inaccurate as this game makes them out to be. A wide-open receiver should be hit most of the time but in this game you will be lucky if your QB throws in their general direction.

Please save your money and stick it to EA's monopoly on NFL football. EA will continue to waste customer's time as we shell out $60 a year for a broken product (intentionally broken). EA does not care to make a quality game because they know fans will continue to buy even when the product is awful. EA is a monopoly that should be broken up by the government but no one will take them to court. Please stop buying their mediocre products.
