Madden 2008 with a different cover.
Gameplay:
As I said in my review deck,this is Madden 08 with a different cover. The gamplay stayed exactly the same, with the same old John Madden commenting, which gets irritating because when you score a 90 yard touchdown, John Madden's dialouge puts you down. The havent changed the dialouge since Madden 2005 i think for the PS2. Also, the graphics are exactly the same as Madden 08, if not, worse.
Game Modes:
As i said before, game modes are exactly the same. The same old Franchise and Super Star mode are frustrating now and the Mini games are dull.
Franchise Mode:
Dull ,lazy, boring, same as ever, and they took out the radio which kept you entertained for a little while.You go through a 16 game regualr saeon ,buildng your team up,trading, hiring coahces in the offseason, drafting new players, etc. And you know the best part?! It keeps repeating itself, so you have the same routine for about 20-30 seasons and your finished.how fun!:)
SuperStar Mode:
Well, this is one of the only fun parts of Madden 09. Even though its mainly the same as Madden 2008, its still fun to play as your own NFL player working your way to the top, hiring an agent, changing your appearence, getting money(Getting money has no affect what so ever), winning Super Bowls, and eventually reaching the Hall of Fame.
