So what if the graphics aren't like Madden 13! The game itself is more than enough to keep you attached to this game!

Madden 2007 for the Gamecube is one of my favorite sports games of ALL TIME. I will tell you why Madden 2007 for the Gamecube is a must have Audio: The soundtrack is average in my opinion. There are some pretty good songs, such as "Easy Way Out" and "Is It Any Wonder" and "Monsters", but some songs are questionable, and some can get annoying. As for in game sound, the Tony Bruno Show is back for the last time. It is very well done, and I like the many different phrases and episodes he airs. Good show. It keeps the franchise mode rolling. As for the in-game commentary, Al and John do repeat a lot of phrases, but the commentary is still well done. I just wish they could say more player's names. The sound effects are also well done, with some new sound effects added. Graphics: The fans don't look too much different than before, but they don'y look awful. The stadiums lookamazing and most of them seem very realistic as far as the cityscape is concerned. The player's themselves look pretty good, but not amazing. Madden 05's player models look more realistic. Certain new animations look amazing, while some seem quite bland. Overall, the graphics are pretty good. Rosters: The rosters in the game are as accurate as they can get, even players such as Curtis Martin, Marshall Faulk, and Keyshawn Johnson are still in the game. Back when Devin Hester was a corner, Jay Cutler was a Bronco, and Chad Ocho Cinco was Chad Johnson. As for free agents, veteran punters like Tom Tupa (17 years), Sean Landeta (20 years), and Bryan Barker (16 years) are in the game. Veteran players such as Ty Law, Kerry Collins, Gary Walker and Dan Wilkinson are also in the game as free agents. I recommend highly adding them to your fantasy team (I have all four of them on mine). Franchise mode: The main mode in the game, franchise mode is very well done, and you can play up to 30 seasons in it. One thing that is wrong with it: the frequency of injuries, especially to big name players, is very unrealistic. It can sometimes detract from the flow of the gameplay. As for the other parts of the franchise mode, the usuals are there. Stadium prices and financial stats, player season and career stats, pro bowl and yearly awards are all there, and it's a highly addicting mode. After a couple seasons, players who retired during franchise mode (such as Curtis Martin and Issac Bruce) actually become available as coaches. Franchise mode is a great mode once again, despite a couple tweaks that could've been made. Overall: The game as a whole is very well done, and I definitley recommend it for purchase for the Gamecube. Some commentary gets old, and the injury rate is too high in franchise mode. Bottom line is: the game is good, no matter what. And I have been playing it for well over 5 years.
