"Luigi's Mansion" is a game that didn't seem to get a lot of love upon its initial release (in fact, I didn't get to play the game until 2013). That's a shame, because to me, it's one of the GameCube's best titles.
With great visuals, fun gameplay, a charming storyline, catchy music and hilarious antics from Luigi himself, the game simply has it all.
If there is anything I could say that's "bad" about the game, it's that it is fairly short. One playthrough won't take more than 4-6 hours, which was probably a good way to keep the game from getting overly redundant.
Even so, if you can get past the short length, "Luigi's Mansion" is an absolute romp that should sit among the very best of the GameCube's library of first-party titles.
