Lost Planet: Extreme condition Review
I think it originates from the idea of Halo. Pretty much just a cheap rip-off in my opinion. We walk around and shoot giant bugs, thats pretty much it. Sound boring? Well.. Its not. Its reasonably fun for just shooting bugs, although it does get boring after about and hour or so.
One feature i like about this game is that you can jump into a giant robot and cause total chaos to everything around you. But that is the ONLY unquie feature this game has... Thats it. The rest is your average, basic shooter material.
Gameplay really isnt all that good, sure you get to shoot bugs untill they blow up and huge balls of what looks like pus comes out, and sure you can shoot rockets and sniper rifles and gattling guns and throw plasma grenades around. But it truely isnt that good, think of halo 1, but not quite as good.
One thing that really 'bugs' me :P about this game is that you have to have ''thermal energy' on you all of the time. You get this by killing giant bugs (what a surprise). This ''thermal energy'' slowly goes down, all of the time your playing and if it runs out... you die. I dont know what it is about that but its really really annoying. Easily one of the worst things to put in a game, its like a time limit on your life... Totally destroyed this game for me.
So the bottom line is... Dont buy this game... Buy Halo
