A game with potential that was missed in many ways.

User Rating: 7.5 | Lost Empire: Immortals PC
This game i could rate it a game that ask to much for a computer, but it doesn't show the power that it uses.

This game reminded me of another game called Stars! or the upcoming game but canceled Stars! Supernova Genesis, same idea, conquer the galaxy, expand, exploit, exterminate, explore. But Stars! the game i still play it lacks the nice graphics but the features where interesting. The game is 4x turn based game.

Here in the game Lost Empires: Immortals, it gives the same things, a strategy game turned based, 4x based. The planetary control lack its features, mostly you only build defenses and terraform, nothing more. Here you can build ship up to massive fleets. But also the design on looks doesn't offer much.

The AI is strange on how it acted on me, sometimes it was weak and strong, and cases i had to deal with minor races that were attacking me all of the sudden. But here the issue was different with many cases of people having problems with it.

For the type of game on features and engine, is poorly made, but hopefully improved with patches. Now, i had heavy hungry games running in my machines specially in my laptop and they managed to work or worked perfectly, but here even in my desktop it tends to lag, my laptop using the same graphics engine wont run it, Im talking about the D3d system, i view logs of games and most of them do run it in the laptop but this one wont. Things of life i guess.

Why im giving a 7.5? Ive been waiting for a massive strategy game like this for years, since Stars! and the letdown on Stars! Supernova. It does have descent graphics, i know there is room for potential, music is ok, apart from glitches but the game is behaving good with me apart my grudges with the game engine.

I suggest that you get the demo, then you decide what to do, as the demo looked like that it only locked various features and give you 350 turns to play with but it had mostly the same things as the full version.
