Fun, Fun, Fun! That's what you get from LocoRoco, yes fun, countless hours of fun in the palm of your hand. When I played LocoRoco first I was stressed after a hard day at school and it's amazing, after just 15minutes I started to hum the song myself and the inocent, joyful looks on the LocoRoco's faces made me relax and happy. Well the storyline of LocoRoco is when the Mojas attack the LocoRoco's peacful worlds in which they spend their hours bouncing around, singing, smiling and having fun. Your target (which is farly easy to reach) is to pass all the levels and eliminate the Mojas and regain world peace. In the game there are five worlds to play each consisting of 8 levels (some are frustrating to find hidden items and some are not.) You play as different types of LocoRocos in fact you unlock more during the game. You start as the Yellow LocoRoco and work your way through more colors of LocoRocos (I'm not gonna tell the colors so you discover yourself.) But these LocoRocos only have a different song and they DON'T do anything in particular that the other colors can't do.

Let's start off with the simple yet amazing and truly well thought controls by the developers. In the game you don't play as the LocoRocos, but you press the R and L buttons to tilt the world right or left and you press both R and L buttons togheter to make the LocoRoco jump. Give a quick press to the O button and your Loco's will break up into tiny Locos but if you hold it when they are broken down they will stick back togheter. Simple Right? Controls are the best i've encountered so far in a PSP game.

Graphics in this game are 2D and they still look great! I've encountered no bugs and glitches with the graphics and they are fine and great. They are simple but every character looks great especially the LocoRocos. No character lacks graphics they are all equal.

Gameplay is one of the best for a portable. The object is to complete all 8 levels from 5 worlds by collecting berries to make your LocoRocos grow. You also find Picories which there are big numbers in each levels to collect and Mui Mui to unlock various items in the game. There are also 3 minigames which are not at all satisfing but serve as temporary distractions from the main game so you don't get bored. They are Mui Mui Crane and Chuppa Chuppa (these are games which you use picories to unlock certain items to build you Loco House) A loco house is basically a 'create your own leve' minigame, which you use items you've unlocked to make your own level. (you don't control your Loco in this minigame you press start and locorocos move on their own) Well the other minigame is Loco Editor which is very similar to the LocoHouse only the level is bigger.

Sound and sountrack in the game truly deserve 10. The music in LocoRoco is great. The tunes are not understandable but you may find yourself humming a song while you play. The LocoRocos also perform a background song when they breakup into tiny locorocos and this is performed greatly. LocoRocos also move their mouth exactly to the sound so this is performed greatly. You can also unlock more music to listen to when you play the Loco House.

Well LocoRoco is a great PSP game and is hours of fun, the Levels are designed neatly and they are great. You should really pick this game up and it's not a game for kids only. If you are an adult you should enjoy LocoRoco too. The Good: Great characters (cute and charming), greatly designed levels, great music, graphics are great taking in consideration it's a 2D game.

The Bad: Minigames are not enjoyable, Gameplay can get repetivite, No real challange involved (unless you want to pick out every single berry in each level and unlock everything which can be tricky)
