User Rating: 8.5 | Little Inferno WIIU
Little inferno is not quite like a majority of game titles out there. You do not have a time limit, you don't shoot anything or swing a sword. The entire premise is both new and refreshing: purchase items from the catalogs and then burn them.

It may sound shallow and repetitive but Tomorrow Corporation does a fantastic job at keeping the premise fresh and the narrative engaging. For the most part, the latter is achieved via burnable letters, sometimes offering gifts, sometimes requesting them. There are several characters to engage with, but for the most part Little Inferno is a solitary venture.

The orchestrated sound goes a long way to create an momentous atmosphere where the outside is perpetually cold and the reasoning is unknown. Burn things for coins, buy things with coins. The real challenge comes from figuring out the combos you must figure out to advance. It can be satirical, humorous, literal or be drenched in dark humour.

Little Inferno may be short, but it's interesting and engaging concept will leave you considering the tale long after the final embers die out.
