Now this is a downloadable game that should be in everyone's library. Limbo blurs the line between art and game, delivering an athmosphere unlike any other game out there this side of survival horror. The graphics and sound are minimal but essential. By keeping everything to its bare it perfects every single detail. Everything in the game has a purpose: sounds, graphics, even the eerie black and white palette. The controls are simple and tight, very necessary given the need to perform some tasks with flawless precision.

Though the game is actually short, it will take a while to go through the first time. Some of the puzzles are really hard, and some, not exactly puzzles, require unforgiving timing. You will die a lot, but the game is far from frustrating. If you try to solve Limbo without looking through a guide, it will challenge your creativity and attention to detail.
