There is pretty much nothing involved in this aspect of the game. No voice acting and very little of a soundtrack.
The black and white visual style is such a simple one but that doesn't stop the game from looking absolutely fantastic. The style is truly what helps make it so unique, You can't help but be drawn to it.
It's your pretty straight forward puzzle solving platformer.
Doesn't take long to beat but the journey to the end is a satisfying one. Plenty of gruesome deaths through out, Plenty of cheap deaths too. Solving puzzles takes a bit of thinking and is quite fun at times.
I think what makes Limbo so great is that everyone can sort of interpret what it is. It's also one of those games where you either get it or you don't and that can cause a lot of love/hate. Personally, I think it's great in it's simplicity. It's enjoyable from start to finish and that's all you can ask for in a video game.
