This game is absolutely brilliant. It got me the first time i saw it. There are these hordes of lemmings dropping down from a hole in the sky and it's your task to safely guide them to the exit of each level. Each level has it's own challenges. You'll need to save our hairy friends from freezing waters, hellfire, guillotines, dropping from heights and so on. To do this you need to give specific lemmings specific tasks like digging, bridge building, exploding, falling whit an umbrella etc. You only get a given amount of these abilities and you also have to meet a quota of lemmings to save, so there is much puzzling involved. It's both a lot of fun and challenging. The amiga version also featureres a two player split screen mode, which is tremendous fun as the two tribes of lemmings walk along eachother and try to take the other's down. Hilarious. Developer Psygnosis was sadly bought by Sony so chances of seeing the lemmings on the nintendo DS are very slim. Too bad.
