Like playing the console versions.

User Rating: 9.5 | LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga DS
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is the Nintendo DS port that I have been waiting for. It is one of the first DS ports I have played that remained nearly identical in features and level design to its console counterpart (the other being Trackmania DS).

Most of the levels in this game have been directly ripped out of the console counterparts and scaled down to the DS. Surprisingly though, the Nintendo DS manages to render everything in full 3-D and is only marginally weaker-looking than the console versions when viewed on a small screen.

The controls remain the same, the characters movement remains the same, and practically everything remains, nothing was cut from the DS version. There are upwards of 100 characters to purchase, minigames to unlock, minikits to find, and six episodes to play through.

It will take ten hours easily just to play through the story mode, and finding the minikits can take another ten hours easily.

However, it should be noted that you can't actually die in the game. Instead you lose precious coins which are key if you wish to purchase characters or cheats later on in the game, additional motivation is added by collecting minikits which unlock concept concept art and 3-D models while collecting red bricks unlocks minigames.

All in all, if you like an addicting and Immersing game you can play for hours with things to do, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga DS is the game for you.
