I have enjoyed all Lego games since the beginning (Star Wars is still one of my faves, same Indiana Jones & Batman *kinda sad for not seeing much of SW, Harry Potter & IJ in this one even if those made it to lego games eh? Hope they get included on the next set of "waves"). But this one surpasses all my expectations. Why? Let's say I never imagined my fave fandoms crushing into one same dimension! It was awesome to see Doctor Who make it to a lego video game (have played Adventure Games & Eternity Clock a lot BTW, great Steam games). Also was brilliant to mix Superman universe with LOTR (I still wonder why we couldn't use the lego's we have already on this new game. Imagine those who collect all lego stuffs. Why buy new ones having old ones? Still is something I have been asking myself since this game came out *if they can be used, I don't know about it*).
Anyway, the gameplay is kinda the same as the old ones, just that now to upgrade you need to construct yourself all of it (even the portal construction takes time LOL My brother said it took us 30 minutes for the set to be done and then play the game hehe *yeah, is kinda painful*). Still I DO recommend this video game for LEGO fans and 60's & 80's fans (Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future & Scooby Doo parts are enjoyable & hilarious). Oh and before I finish this short review: the more "waves" you get to buy, new stories you get to play (if they include those of course). PS: As a fan of Sherlock...hope one day they get to be done in lego too (and get add to this game). Just to see Batman vs Holmes would be brilliant ;D
