Now a message from all the real-life wrestlers worldwide...Please, don't try this at home!
In between those games, obviously there were some not so good wrestling games...like WWF Raw is war...WCW Mayhem...and so forth. So with all that said, is just crystal clear that Legends of Wrestling is really in a class of it's own...YES, this game was, is and will always be THE SUCKIEST WRESTLING GAME EVER!!
No game out there can come close to what this game is. A top rope powerbomb to the outside and landing on a table may sound painfull to almost anyone...but I can bet, that playing this game can and will be 10 times more painfull!
So first is first, what do you do first, when you play a wrestling game?? Most of us, we directly sumerge on the create a wrestler part. So i did...and i almost wreck my controller on doing so. A complete pacience disturbing experience...if you suffer from anger attacks, please just dont do this. It will drive you insane.
After i thought i had made my wrestler with all the moves i chosen for him to perform...i try him out. Oh, i almost forgot..this game doesnt even have the HULKSTERS theme entrance music...if you have a wrestling game and you have HULK HOGAN on the front cover, at least you must have HIS theme song right?? well NO! every theme song in this games is made up, which kinda drops back the fact that you want to play with a legend...anyways! So i picked Brian Pillman to be my opponent, and we start the rumble....MUSIC and SOUND..bad, GRAPHICS..blocky cartoony wrestlers...hmmm bad, GAMEPLAY and CONTROLS...remember that easy controller scheme on games like WCW/NWO Revenge?? well forget about that on this game, CONTROL & GAMEPLAY simply SUCK! I played one minute thru the fight and i simply turned the ps2 off and took out that game and I paused for 5 minutes...why? To be honest with you, i have played videogames since 1982...good and bad, and this has got to be the first time in my entire videogame playing life and experience, that i had to stop and wonder, why i didnt used my time doing something better than playing this videogame??? this Load of Trash??? why didnt i took my friends advice and simply not play this game??? i wasted between creating my wrestler and actually using my created wrestler to play a solid 38 minutes...38! in 38 minutes you can do awhole bunch of interesting stuff than playing this crap. If i had bought this game, i would simply curse myself over and over again. This game is the worst videogame experience i have ever had. Please DONT BUY OR RENT OR DO ANYTHING WITH THIS GAME.
I didnt listen to my friend, and he was the one lending me this game...let me quote him "this game is not worth it...NOT worth it"...IF only I HAD listened...
This game is a disrespectfull to all the wrestling and videogame fans worldwide. Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME!..this has got to be the WORST game i have played EVER!
