The gameplay is quite fresh but gets a bit over used!

Tomb Raider : The Prophecy is basically a Tomb Raider game for the Gameboy Advance and it does well in making it quite like the original Tomb Raiders. The whole style of gameplay is the same as the other Tomb Raiders but different in that you are not behind your character. There are actually quite a lot of levels but many of them seem to look the same and the whole gameplay thing is used a bit too much. Throughout the whole game you do the same thing basically.

There is no save option which is really bad so you have to remember the password and then type it in to go back to the level. The thing is, is that all of your previous equipment is gone so you are back to your pistols on a harder level. The graphics are okay and the sound is also okay. The camera is not so good because you can get stuck in areas because you can't really see what's going on.

The difficulty does gradually increase throughout the levels which is a good thing. But the levels aren't set out fairly. One level will be quite short and not so hard when the next one could be really long and much harder and when you have gone through about 85% of the level and you accidently fall, maybe because of the camera, you have to start at the beginning of the level again. Another annoying factor is that you can only know the password of the level by pressing start and pausing the game. If you don't and die in that level and turn off the Gameboy Advacne in frustration then you can't return to that level unless you get back there because there is no save option, only a password option.

Nonetheless this game is not as bad as same and actually in many places this game can be quite fun. Not bad stuff.
